haha, my first box in... probably 3 years at least.

been trying [ha] to complete the set since 01.

i'm now 3 cards short of the class 1 set. Pat Burrell, Ken Caminiti, and raul mondesi

highlights: class 3 black Jeter, class 2 black Glavine, class 2 black Burrell.

race to aaron: black Bonds, Griffey, a-fraud.

no red labels... nothing numbered :x

overall happy with the break though. i got a soriano base, which i needed. and the race-to-aaron Griffey is one I didn't have.

this box was very well-collated. i don't think i got one dupe.

I did see a class 2 ripken black sell for $13 on the bay, so hopefully the Jeter can help me recoup a few bucks.

pics of the carnage:

yes its my favorite-looking base set of the 90s/00s.

I love all the parallels too.

and the possible 1/1's keep the box breaks exciting 10 years later

Gold Label ALWAYS a fun break. I love busting 2001 in hopes of a Brian Roberts RC.

Mind if I ask how much the box set you back?
