A "Fake" Card - Open for Discussion

[Card Magnet]

This is a nice card (#/25), but it looks like one that people would label as fake. I'm not saying it is. It just looks like one that would be labeled. I'm open to discussion.

Can anybody tell me what part of the jersey this is from?

It seems pretty legit to me. However, the place where I assumed it would have come from (below the neck on the front) just has the NY logo. Not sure.

Knowing how Panini has put some of their extra sticker autos into other products, it wouldn't shock me if this was from their old stock as well. They probably used some alternate jersey that Moss wore at the Rookie Premiere. But similar to Groat, I can't find one that matches.

I'm thinking the same. It's a strange patch. On a /25, it's a great patch. It probably is something to clear out their inventory since Sinorice is a low caliber player.

I'm still thinking I'll pursue this one pending my available PayPal towards the auction end.

I see what you mean. It's the end of the word though, and upside down. so it's the "NTS" part of Giants.

Pretty sure it's a fake, but more than likley card company just cut up another garbage jersey. Giants switched NY logo on jersey for a few years now. Not sure what year. but it's been a few. I think all the years he was on the team they have been NY logo. Ask card company, i'm sure they keep detailed records on jerseys they hack up.

It was suggested that it could be a piece from a throwback/variant Moss wore at the rookie premiere, but that can't be right. It just now occured to me to look, and the card is marked as "Game Worn", not "Event Worn".

Why, that proves nothing.

I looked and Moss never wore jersey with Giants spelled out logo on jersey. NY is all they have used since he was drafted.

So your fine with a game used jersey piece on a card of a player that never wore that style.

My guess is the jersey they cut up was bad and they did zero research on it when purchased. I bet it also came with a Lou Lampson COA. Complete trash.

Look on getty his rookie year shots. The Giants had NY logo on the jerseys not Giants logo. Took less than 2 minutes to do that research.

Did you check every game he played from 06, 07, and 08 (including preseason)?
