A few nice Retail pulls --Posey Auto & Yu Darvish blue ref

Local wm had several blaster boxes marked down to $10, so I picked up a 2008 Bowman Draft box, 1 box of 2008 Sweetspot and 7 packs of Topps Chrome. Here is what I pulled

Notice, there is no swatch in there.

I'm guessing this is a blue refractor?

Overall I think I did very well.

My mistake, I overlooked that.Seems like something Topps would screw up before UD (see smeared finish on Darvish--some other guy pulled one of those on here with the same crappy finish).

I sent in about 20 refractors and colored refractors that had the smearing. Topps was pretty good on the turn around time. I think I had the cards back within 3 weeks. They need to address this quality control issue so it does not happen more often in other chrome products.

Nice pulls by the way. $10 for a 08 Draft blaster! Great Buy! At my WM, nothing but junk UD series 2 blasters and UD X blasters for $20.

Good post.It was just the WBC refractors that had the awful finish, right?Were you the one who pulled the Darvish blue refractor with the smeared finish?They sent you the same replacements?Clean?

Thanks for the Topps replacement update.Back in July I bought a box of '09 Topps at a local show and half of the cards were horribly off centered.Worst centering I've seen.Dealer could not believe it.I comtemplated sending the crap back to them, but they're so worthless I'm not sure it's worth the postage.Did Topps send you an extra pack or so to make it worthwhile?
