So with there being this influx of unnumbered refractors, is there a premium on the actual ones with numbers? do we know estimated print one on the unnumbered pieces?

I am shocked how many i see up for auction.

It's nauseating. There HAS to be a premium on the numbered ones, as those are individually numbered out of 25. One of my biggest projects of the last few years is trying to get all 25 of the 2006 Bowman Sterling Will Venable Black Refractors (I currently have 15 of the 25). With all this inauthentic garbage surfacing, who knows how much money I've wasted due to the crappy alternatives that have surfaced. If I see anyone selling them, they're immediately added to my ebay block list.

yes it is bad. By watching it seems as if there is an endless supply of the un-numbered refractors. just wondering when I list my morales black i need to reference in the title that it is a real one.

If I were interested in one of the 06 parallels that have the unnumbered backdoor ****, I would definitely pay more for a real one. I'm sure a lot of ppl are too naive to really understand though. I know Skrip has a lot of real 06 stuff and these are killin him. Thank God, I have dumped all of my Chrome parallels pre-08. If it happens with another year, I would really question Topps about why they print all of these extra cards anyway?? (Actually I would make that suggestion to Gilmore since he is the one with all the contacts)

This is the problem, people are uninformed and don't realize the difference (and seller's certainly aren't quick to point this out). Like I said, I have (15) of the 25 legitimate copies of the Will Venable Black Refractor and (5) of the 10 legitimate copies of the Venable Gold Refractor. Very frustrating and disconcerting/disappointing as the consumer.

I was going to make a post about this last night....

It is killing the prices of the legit ones also. Saw an Andrus Gold Ref end last night for $45. Of course it wasn't listed whether it was #d or not.
