Nice card but damn did Upper Deck ruin the "Artifacts" set. 2005 one of the greatest modern sets to 2006 sticker autos and cluttered designs. Also that price seems VERY high but thats just me. Nice pick up.

weird because i asked around to other people who have these cards and here is what i found out

carlos zambrano (2 of them)- 180 and 400
prince fielder- 450
carl yaz- 450

so are those prices also super high?

I got the Gomes (not on eBay) for $50 delivered, and was very happy with that price.

I was able to land mine (also not on ebay) for around $50 and was happy with the price especially the fact its on card.

To answer your question Miggy, those prices do seem high to me but those three players are in a different league, from what I have seen Chavez and Cabrera are in a similar league when it comes to most cards (Miggy's super premium go for a bit higher than Chavez's) but $170 does still seem high to me but if you are happy that is all that matters and as I said before it is a nice card.

The price seems in the ballpark for me, 170 is not unreasonable considering what other similar cards go for. Its a really beautiful card.

not to downplay chavez, he was a decent player, but are you really putting him in the same group as miguel? miggy is a potential future HOFer, with 30/100 seasons almost every year
i dont see how you can say someone like prince fielder and carlos zambrano are in a different league than miggy when he is probably better than both of them.....

I've never seen miggy post a pick-up thread that wasn't about a sweet card, usually a 1/1...

As for the price, there is no way it is high...if anything, IMO, that is approaching the low side.

I love it when people question kids or college kids about where they get the money for their cards..there is no point to it...I bought several high end pujols RC's during college, the reason, I had no bills, a job, and nice parents that trusted me.

Great work Miggy and ignore the haters...although your responses in this thread were pretty funny so don't ignore them too much.

He said there was no way he was trading the big materials patch card. He also said the only way he would trade the barrel was is if I could workout a three way trade with you for the griffey big materials patch or i buy him a HOFer/star player premier barrel and trade it to him. I told him to email me when he found one, so we will see what happens.
