How would you make it better? What players should be in it under the following parameters.

a) Not Razor Exclusive
b) Not 09 Draftee or July 2 signee.

Also if you complain about autographs when they already have Chromes, who would you rather see as an autograph than those players?

remember when Bowman Chrome was for the player collector? lol

Yes, I still am personally looking for Ortiz' in these sets. It is a great player collector set, but very few are of that mindset on this board. I personally this 09 Bowman line with Bowman with Chrome and Bowman Chrome are the sets that show the "Razor Effect" more than Draft. If they hadn't had to put guys like Reddick, Montero, Stanton and others in Draft they would have been showcase players for the current Bowman sets.

I really don't know much about 09 Bowman Chrome except those two no-talent Indian guys are among the autographed cards. I usually purchase about 3 to 6 boxes of every BC product. I will blow a gasket if I get one of those Indian autographed cards.

The only thing I would add is to include prospects within the set that actually have potential MLB talent. Those two Indian autos make a mockery of the good name that Bowman Chrome has developed with their autographed cards of the past 8 or 9 years.

What's next? Rip girls autographs? ::facepalm::

Those 2 no talented ball players for the Pirates will still sell very well.

Exactly, they are complete gimmicks, but gimmicks that got a ton of press.

Bring back etching. The cards look especially flat this year almost like they are foil cards(instead of chrome)

I agree, but this was more checklist wise since everyone posts it is so weak. I honestly can't think of many players that could be put in with the razor contracts.

Here would be the guys I would want to see from the Phillies,

Trevor May(really needs a card)
Jonathan Pettibone
Domingo Santana
Sebastian Valle

I could find more guys, but those stick out.

Because the 2002 Bowman Chrome SP autos of So Taguchi and Kaz Ishii had such potential MLB talent to make the two of them chase autos...

Wish I knew that you had a good relationship with him. He lives about 20 mins from Gilmore, Jacksonville State University is a good place about 9,000 students, and oh yea.. ALMOST beat the Crimnoles this weekend. Glad he is a stand out guy

Kenny Rogers was lights out at that level also.......

and still you wont buy my Rogers cards when I have stuff to sell to you....what's up with that??

Thoughts on improving Bowman chrome cards

Instead of having the players sign the cards.....just let'em spit on them - 1st Year DNA CHROME

If they turn out to be special...you'll have the ability to clone your own little Harper, Strasburg, Lincecum etc

Wouldn't that be better than an auto???
