*DISCLAIMER* This may be a long read, but it’s worth it in my opinion.
Just before Thanksgiving, Dave You busted some 2009 Topps 206. He happened to hit a card of interest to me, but I didn’t know about it until the next day. When I logged on the next morning, my Morning Threads friends tipped me off to the card and I checked Dave’s break. I PMed him to let him know that I was interested in the card. He answered back telling me that he had already listed the card and made a deal with a Canadian buyer. It wouldn’t be the first time I was late on a card, so I thanked him and wished him a Happy Thanksgiving.
Fast forward to today. I get an unexpected bubble mailer in the mail and I recognize the name. I open it up and I find a cool note inside:
When you flip it over, it has a picture to go with the “mini me” reference:
Here is the mini me to which he was referring:
Here are better scans of the front and back:
2009 Topps 206 Mini Carolina Brights back 1/1. Thank you Dave. I cannot express how appreciative I am. This is way above and beyond. Thank you for an amazing addition to my Adam Dunn collection.
