I was chastised a few months ago for posting political crap on this site  and the post was deleted by the powers that be.

I've had a few of my post deleted too. If someone wants to delete this one. It's no big deal to me. But, it is about collectibles.

In the release video, he said he was better than Washington or Lincoln…

Politics aside, I was going to say that anything trading card themed has a collector base it seems...until I saw they were digital. This is still the dumbest thing to me. People are paying real money to own digital images! I like to use the Bunt app for fun, but I never spend any real money on it.

Unless money can be made from these images in the future, WHY? I try to remain open minded. I guess it is like owning art or anything else that can be bought and resold at a later date. You can buy and sell these digital images (if there are future buyers available), but at least with anything else physical, you can see and hold the item you traded your money for. There is still something to be said for that.

Well said. I would be a little more pointed in my choice of words, but I pretty much agree with your assessment of the NFT fad.

I put the topic in the wrong forum. The mods can move it bothers people. Or delete the topic. What ever.
