Sold a 3 card lot of 2008 Bowman Draft Carlos Gonzalez cards.... 2 Bowman and 1 Chrome for $0.99 + $2.00 Shipping... $2.99 dlvd.

This is the message he sent.....

Hi. I just checked in these cards (I was out of town for four days). I know it's only $2.99 but I just can't use these. The two base cards have chipping at the bottom and the chrome card is off-center (and has a few fingerprints). I threw out the package with your address on it never thinking I might need to send them back. Can you give me your mailing address so I can ship them back? Thanks for your time.

I issued a full refund today.... not worth the headache.

I would have made him ship them back. Then he would have gotten around a dollar back after he paid for his tracking.

Stories like this make me sick... I haven't sold anything on eBay in a long time because I just dread sh!t like this. What was the buyer thinking? Did he not press "submit bid" himself?

Wonderful buyer. People are truly stupid and petty.

To avoid this crap, in my auctions:
1. large hi-res scans, front and back
2. no condition mentioned at all, just state "pics show condition"

I've yet to have anyone complain since I can just point to the auction and ask where the problem is. One day though I'm sure I'll have a problem despite my efforts.

Here is the pic from the auction... they are 5 year old Bowman cards.... so he shouldn't expect perfection... especially for a whopping $3 dlvd.

He didn't even care enough to get his cards back, yet this...

I'm not upset by it. People can post what they want to post. Just pointing out that it's a bit strange.
