A pretty cool mailday from Christian Friedrich :*UPDATE*:

So I bust some packs of 2008 Bowman Draft and see that Christian is from Evanston IL and I am from Roselle IL. I without thinking bust the next 10 packs and find 0 other cards of Friedrich . I find an address for him and I send off a ttm with a long letter stating that it's cool having a baseball player from my area. I send off a Draft base card of him. 2 weeks later I get back my SASE from Christian. He included a cool letter and he also included 2 extra cards. WOW. Christian has now become one of my favorite players and I plan on collecting him.

Just a random note on the back of the Razor card where it lists organization, it has Cleveland for him and he drew a line to it with a red pen and wrote "Wrong Haha". Also, on the back of the Tristar card it lists him as a RHP which he also wrote "wrong" above.

I'm gonna send him a long email in a while.

A while ago I sent Christian an email thanking him and I asked a couple of questions well today

Hey Hubert hows it going? Im glad i could help out with the cards bud. In regards to the whole card deals I get contacted by my agent and he sets up the card deals. After I get a get a check from them they usually send me a bunch of cards for me to keep but i haven't seen those yet ha. And yes it was a pain in the butt signing all those cards but it was better then sitting behind a desk at work! I usually signed them in b/w games of CALL OF DUTY, my favorite game. Its nice b/c i don't have to dip into my signing bonus and save it all up! Im not sure where i'm gonna start this year but ill either be in Modesto or Asheville. And for your BIGGEST question, I am A WHITE SOX fan baby!!! CUBS suck haha it was hard being a Sox fan especially b/c I am from the North Side. Sorry it took me soo long to respond bud but been a little busy. Look forward to hearing from ya again.
