A question for Vintage graders

Is the minimum grade a vintage card can receive a poor (or poor to fair)?

The reason I ask is because I'd like to pick up some cards but they are VERY rough with severe miscoloratio. Like there may have been water damage.

So, to sum it up. Can an untrimmed card card be so screwed up that they just slap the "authentic" tag?

Yes

Yes. If the card is trimmed or altered in any way, it can be classified as authentic. BTW, go with SGC when grading, they rock.
