Just wanted to see what people think. How many colors is this patch? Does the jersey part count as a color? To me, its 4 colors. Lets hear some other opinions though. Here's the card

I would say 3 color patch with pinstripes, nice card regardless.

3 in the patch. Jersey piece is irrelevant.
I'd say 4 color (although not counting the jersey color is a good point).
as a buyer, I'm more impressed with being able to ID what patch type and even sometimes "part of" it is over how many colors there are. Colors can be subjective and on some gradient pieces like the classic d-rays, how would one even come up with a color number?

I like both color and knowing what part it is. Unfortunately as a Yankee fan, I have little options for color. Unless its a special patch. As for the old devil rays, they had some nice colored patches. Still nice lol
