I want to thank everyone for their comments.

That simply will not suffice. We want an Oscar winning speech :)

Amazing pick up George! I was wondering how you know which game it's from? I don't see a year on it anywhere, and the auction says it's from the 30's. I don't doubt you, just wondering how you figured it out?

Yeah, the original owner of this ticket got a killer deal! For $1 he got to see the Yankees game, watch the Babe hit a home run, then got to meet him and got his auto. What a day that was! And all for a buck...

I had to do a lot of Google image searching to find the year. Ruppert's name on the ticket helped to narrow the years. I searched the 1930s and came up nada, starting search older years and found a match with 1928. I did not look at the box scores until I was waiting around for the Fedex guy.

Congratulations again George. That is quite an incredible piece to add to your impressive collection. I would have been dancing when it got back from PSA.

::facepalm::

It seemed so complex, I failed to consider the obvious. :lol: I guess it wouldn't really be that tough as long as the tickets were different each year. I feel a little dumb. :oops:
