A few years ago, I used to be really fond of those mixed-pack boxes (and to an extent, I still am). I grabbed one off the wal-mart shelves, and received this card. I always assumed it was a $15-$20 card. I put it in a toploader and then put it in a box. Well, recently I've been doing a massive spring cleaning on the collection and came across it again. I decided to check ebay.

Turns out it's worth a little more than $15.

Nice find!

I had a similar find a few years back. As a kid, I always kept any rookie card I pulled in a binder. Going back through one of those binders, I found a 1997 Fleer David Arias rookie card, who we now know as David Ortiz. At the time I found it, I think it was worth $70 (it has dropped significantly now, but still a nice card).

His cards prices have gone down, but not his waist size
