Went digging through the card stores boxes today and found some goodies. Not even a drop in the bucket, will be in there all day Thursday taking care of business. Here's the haul:
Some nice Griffey's, 1994-1996:
All 1997's:
24 Kt Gold /2500 ; Finest Silver Embossed ; Blast Furnace is transparent ; Hit it Here is #'d 9144/????
All 1998's:
State Reps /5000 ; Heading for the Hall /3500 ; Big Bang /2500 ; Power Trip /10,000
1999-2001's:
Diamond Soul has a unique surface, similar to 3D cards ; Title Waves /1997 ; Primary Colors /975 ; 08 Finest Red Refractor is #1/25 (Griffey guys, any idea what this would sell for?)
Clemens "Hall or Nothing" (ironic? Hall of Fame at any cost?) and 88 Topps Tiffany
Bonds "Hall or Nothing" (see above, haha) ; 02 Donruss Production Line /515 ; 2000 TSC Beam Team /500 ; 97 Pinnacle Hit it Here 4151/????? ; 97 Tools of the Trade (w/ Alex Ochoa on the back, haha) ; 94 Leaf Limited Gold /10,000
A few cheap yet classic RC's, I think these set me back $12 total
Anything is available, especially if needed by a player collector of one of these players. All told I spent about $60 which seemed pretty good to me, how did I do?
