So do the Yankees. If he hadn't torn his ACL during the 2003 off-season then A-Rod would probably have not been a Yankee until he was a Free Agent in 07. Boone was supposed to be their "Future 3B"

Boone completely sucked donkeys that half season he was with the Yankees, but he sure did redeem himself with one swing of the bat.
I am surprised there isn`t a sector of Yankee fans who hate him for getting hurt resulting in ARod being brought in. Lets not forget too, I believe if not for the Players Union Alex would have been a Red Sock. That was a wild couple of days in MLBLand. Boone tore his knee up in a pickup basketball game.
