Im really hoping this is true. The Raiders really need to start stopping the run and if he can play up to his potential he will be a solid addition. A 7th round pick isnt a huge loss for what could be a solid player

fingers are crossed that him sucking just had to do with the uniform he was wearing ;)
Maybe thats what Keith Rivers needs as well

that...and to quit getting frickin injured ::facepalm::

by the way I'm hoping that Ta'amu goes to a good team in the draft (I'd be lying if I said I didn't want the Raiders to)...though he's a Husky...I pull for my fellow Pacific Islanders no matter who they play for :D
Well thats good to hear I take it your raiders fan? Hes my favorite husky player I got one of his game used practice gloves autographed and hope he gets drafted in the 1st or 2nd rounds. I always thought Rivers had the chance to be good but man hes been unlucky[/quote:1ovy2tlk]

yeah...I'm a Raider fan.

According to Scouts Inc., Ta'amu is the 2nd best DT going into the Draft...I know the college season isn't over yet so that could change...but he's gettting some recognition...so thats always good...he's such a load in the middle...I'm honestly scared that with how much of a force he is in the middle combined with Marc Tyler's tendency for fumbling that it's going to be ugly if USC tries to run the ball up the middle against UW.

Ya he a beast in the middle and we lost one of our other good young D-Linemen this season Hauoli Jamora to a ACL but Semisi Tokolahi is played very with Ta'amu in the Utah game so I think they can be a good 1-2 punch the rest of the season

From rotoworld, "The Raiders have already promoted Aaron Curry into the starting lineup at weak-side linebacker, where he'll replace Quentin Groves."

It happens, a solid player who was drafted way to high. The Raiders don't care where he was drafted. What a draft, 2009, #3 Tyson Jackson, #6 Andre Smith, #11 Arron Maybin. Some big hits too in the first round, don't get me wrong.

I think Curry will play well without the expectations fo his high selection. Groves is to up and down one game he's a monster and the next he cant tackle. Hopefully curry can be more consistent. While most Raiders fans dont like the move I think it could really pay off.
