? about selling player lots. I have 400-500 of just about every star. This include no jersey's or autos, but all other inserts and some commons Most lots are of cards 10 years or newer. I want to clean this out the easiest way without just "giving" the cards away. Do you think it's best to list 4-5 100 cards lots or just one big lot? Don't want to put a ton of time into this either.

Thanks, just looking for some suggestions.

I think a big thing is how many duplicates per lot. For instance, when I buy lots of 100+ if there are 'up to 10 cards of the same' then I could be buying 10 cards, just getting 10 copies of each. I think listing how many different is a help and start the listing at what you are willing to take, not 99 cents if you have a price in mind.

That said, Any Andruw lots :D

Edited to add: My experience with andruw lots is that price per card (with shipping factored) generally hovers around 10 cents per card regardless of how many included 500 or 25. If you have a nice insert or two definitely throw a scan up showing them as an enticement.

I looked on Ebay, but couldn't really find any large player lots. Most where for 50 cards or less. I don't know if these are people breaking up larger lots or just selling what they have. Thanks

If its anything by seller stackedpacks then ignore it. Most of their lots don't sell and they buy a crapload of cards. You may actually want to contact them for player pricing; I think they pay 2-10cents per card up to 10 cards of the same.

To give you a better idea, I just went through a box of Griffey's. I have around 600 cards of him. Inserts to regulars it is about a 50-50 split. Some dupes of the regulars but no more than maybe 5 of any single card and almost all are from higher end products. In the inserts there are some die-cuts and #ed's (maybe 50). Hope this helps with your suggestions.

again thanks for the help
