? About the 1991 Topps Desert Shield cards

Some time back, I read somewhere that people were making/selling fake copies of these cards? Does anyone else recall hearing the same, and if so, how can you tell if a card is authentic or not? Thanks.

That stinks,i think my Jerry Browne is fake,It has gold color but it's logo is by the 40th anniversary and the examples from that link had all the stamps in the upperright corner.

Oh well,it only cost me 2.75
