Why not get him a drop 3 in the next few years of him playing he will have to use a drop 3 any way. That is most leagues rules. No more than a drop 3 and get BBCOR bat since that is nation wide high school rules. With him being 11 time to prepare. The more time to adjust the better.

I started looking for the Omen, the 2011 version of the 2012 Power BRigade. I can't find IT for less than $150-160.

So, I came across this... get the Power Brigade at full cost, get the Omen for $60. Decide which to keep, and sell the other.

Either I make $50 on the Omen, or I sell the Brigade for close to street value and get the Omen for $70-80 rather than $160.

Winning.
