Will he get 2 more HR before end of season, so that he will have 40+ HR for 7 consecutive years??
I thought for sure he would have 40 HR by now, but it took him forever to get one as of late... If he takes as long or longer as the last one, he won't make it to 40.
He also has his avg up to 278.

BA OBP SLUG HR
.278 .408 .551 38 (DUNN)
.271 .352 .561 42 (Player B)

Howard has 12 more strikeouts as well. Still doesn't change the fact that he is a fan favorite,
or the fact that Dunn is languishing in the baseball hell known as Washington DC.

Or that he was one of the worst fielding OFs while with the Reds.

I've always thought that if he were at 1B he would be appreciated by the fans much more.

Will an AL team sign him already?

I don't mean to step on your toes or anything, but this would actually be 6 consecutive if he hits 2 more this year.

Dunn wasn't a very good defensive OF, but he's been playing a lot of 1B in DC and is getting better. I think if they continue to play him at 1B next year, he will turn into a much better fielder. He's never going to be a GG player, but I think he will become a servicable 1B.

Dunn is a very underrated player. I know everyone harps on the Ks and BA, but he posts a career .900+ OPS and .380+ OBP. Oh yeah, he hits 40HRs and drives in 100 almost like clockwork. Like I said, he's becoming a better fielder at 1B too. He could play on my team any day.
