advice on million card giveaway

opened a series 2 jumbo and got 10 of them.
so, i can sell em for 20 bucks or take a shot.
has anyone gotten anything beyond a crummy common?
are there any good cards? thanks

IMO they are all junk in series 2 so far. No stars in the 1950-1970's at all. Has anyone pulled anything good.

I have gotten crap as of late in the million card thing. They don't release 50s cards very often and they are in dismal shape once they are received, so I would suggest you sell them, unless you just want to have some fun with seeing what you get.

I have 120 from Series 2 that I have been holding on to... The prices has been slowly creeping up to around $3 a code again.

With the Strasburg's already selling for $400+ I think they will keep going up. You have to expect Topps to start giving away some older stuff again at some point which will also give a jump to prices.

I had 10 from my series2 jumbo as well. What I did.....

Sold 5 as a lot - made like $13 I believe
Kept and redeemed 5 - ended up with garbage, but had to at least use a few and give it a shot.

I checked for the T206s the other day and saw none

but I did find 2000 1987 Pete Rose cards

Doesn't look it. The whole initial write-up was a bit vague and misleading.

They still have the Strasburg up on the main page - and from what I can gather, it looked like only 20 or so were distributed that night and as of today it says 50 had been released.

Face book page said they'd be released throughout the remainder of the promotion. At the of 20 a day, there should be several thousand of them LOL. I know there won't be that many, but I'd think they will make at least 500. $400 is ridiculous to pay for these. Someone traded a 52 hi number for one, which was probably a steal for him, but others don't want to trade them I think b/c the cash price is so high. It will drop I think. Many were listed with BINS below $400. Granted, it's still a pricey card, but I think it will certainly drop down, especially as more and more are unlocked.

Sell! You can buy whatever decent vintage card you might've won with the proceeds. These things are as good as cash in '10 Topps boxes.
