definitely sucks, but, i dont blame them.

They lost buys by having barnett out, and honestly, unless lashley was gonna do it, I wouldnt have ordered it.

They'll probably try for an october date

Thats the thing. I dont think there will be another event.

They have Fedor under contract for 1 more fight, so Im leaning towards they will have 1 more event marketed for him.

They could release him from the contract, but I doubt it, or, possibly a deal involving UFC somehow.

At this point who knows

Honestly, I seriously doubt there will be another event. They may have him under contract for 1 more fight, but there really are no more viable guys that could be marketed as posing a threat to him.
Josh was it and now his reputation is tarnished.

I think they give the UFC the right to negotiate a contract with Fedor and then in essence sell his right to them.

They just cannot continue to pay over 2 million to fighters while only getting 100K PPV buys.

I am reading from some fighters associated with guys who were fighting that they are closing up shop.

King Mo also called into a radio show and advised that no one is getting paid now.

Yeah I agree with most of that.

Im not sure if Affliction the clothing line will end up closed, but, I would think unless Lashley accepts a fight against him, Affliction's PPV's are done. Lashley is the only guy I think people care about seeing him fight outside of UFC

This is almost the same problem that closed EliteXC...bad businessmanship...although, Affliction had better fights/fighters, they still put it all into Fedor without having a backup plan incase he lost/got hurt/etc. That wasnt the case here, but, similar.

I think Affliction is done also. Time to go be a T Shirt company again. At least now we'll get to Brett Rogers and hopefully Fedor in the UFC now.
