So we're a few weeks into the AFL season...who are your surprises and disappointments so far...

Surprises: Mike Stanton leading the league in hitting at .478! I'm very pleasantly surprised no doubt.

Disappointments: Freddie Freeman should be shut down after his injury in AA and given some much deserved rest...but no...

LUCROY! Seriously though, it's nice to see him stretch out against good pitching.

Little dissapointed in Mark Rogers though. I thought he had some stuff figured out. He's not terrible, but hopefully they let him get in a rhythm.

yeah, there was a thread. That game was a bloodbath on both sides for SP. I never thought I'd see someone like Strasburg have such a ****** performance as to overshadow a Mark Rogers ****** performance.

Matt McBride is hitting decently...so I'm happy. I was really expecting a big season for him this past season...but he struggled a bit in AA ball after mauling the ball in Hi-A.

Through six AFL games his OPS is 1.152 with a solid 5:4 walk to strikeout ratio.

Loving the Stanton numbers. Sitting on a moderate stash of his Chrome's (7 base, 3 Refractor's, 1 Xfractor and a BGS 9.5 base) so .478 looks pretty solid to me!

I've only been watching my guy's numbers, but I am really disappointed with Mitch Canham

.083 BA, 1 Run, 1 RBI, 4 BB, 3 SO

With numbers like these, he might be demoted from AA to A next year

I am disappointed my guy Hodges didnt even get a chance to play in the AFL this year after the stats he put up last time. Well here's to the future.

Brandon Snyder = :) for me, investment wise

P.J. Phillips - ecstatic he even got in, although he is only hitting .211
