Are they XRC's, RC's or Insert cards (not classified as RC's)?

obviously this whole RC thing has been blurred since 2006, so I took RC to be "prospect card". But they could have been theoretically produced in the same year as a BDP product, so I voted RC.

Looks like "insert" has taken the lead!

Why do you think these cards are so popular if they are just inserts and not RC's or even FY cards?

Technically the whole draft subset of BDPP is a huge insert set. It's the 90's all over again. We all love the inserts.

Obviously, and technically, they are factually inserts. So that would be the easy answer. However, I liken them more to a XRC than anything. But when push comes to shove, I would have to consceed to them being inserts. The pack pulled ones anyway..

Coming from a non-prospector, I'd call them an insert. I just can't call a card a RC unless it comes in a pack that also has base cards.

I no longer pay attention to RC, XRC, FYC, etc

I buy a card because I want it and don't care what "Label" the industry wants to give it

I prefer to have the oldest possible edition if I can

I guess that's why i like the UD USA stuff

I used to be very into these auto'd cards but when it comes down to it, I'd rather have a Bowman Sterling Jason Heyward Auto than his AFLAC auto.

Personally, I like the AFLAC autos. Nice on-card sigs of players on their FIRST card produced. I like the designs as well. Hella better than those darn Razor autos! :D

One HUGE plus about these cards is that the autos are on-card.

With a guy like Heyward for example whose FY card is a sticker auto, these are pretty nice. He does however have a Chrome auto in 08 products (2nd year).

For a guy like Rick Porcello, he has a number of autos, but his AFLAC not only comes from a product from his first year of cards (2008), but it is his only on-card auto.

I like the fact that they are "on card" Autos, but to answer the question, in my mind they are great to get IP Autos. I would rather have a Chrome or Sterling. They're inserts to me. Very nice inserts, but an insert.

I would say that technically they are an insert, but I can understand the case for XRC.

I noticed that a Heyward sold for around $90 which seemed pretty low based on how I would rate the cards. Personally I love the on-card sig, and the fact he has no Chrome Auto would make it the card to have if I was going for him, but it appears the market and I are not thinking along the same lines.

What's the print run on them again?

Supposedly, they are 250 each...but who knows...

Yeah, the one for $90 was a steal IMO!
