After a rough start, Jon Lester....

It's been obscured a bit by a rough start, but Lester has been ridiculous of late. His ERA is June was 1.85. In 2 starts in July it's .61. In his last 6 decisions he's 5-1, and in his last 54.2 innings he has 69 K's.

I was getting a bit worried after the slow start, so it's nice to see!!

When he is on he is FILTHY, he has been so dominant lately and that is the Lester of last season.


Man is he fun to watch when he is on!!

His K/9 is insane this season!



The rough start was very surprising...it was always one bad inning that did him in :x

He has been pitching great.

His strikeout numbers are really through the roof. 2nd in the AL and 4th in the league.
I mean last year he only had 152 in 210 in. , so the 131 at this point is a nice surprise.
Hopefully he'll keep it up now the second half

He only turned it on last season after a slow start so I wasn't shocked. Still impressive to see the degree of the turn around.
