I found a few Pucketts I thought I'd lost, and was looking through some of the old wax I've busted and found a few great Rc's. Whats even better about finding all these mid 80's cards is that I pulled them all and they are all pack fresh.
Finding the old early-mid 80's wax boxes reminded me that I've got a box that I packed for PSA but never sent. That box has close to 50 Rc's of Gwynn, Ripken, Sandberg, McGwre, Puckett, Mattingly & Boggs. So I'm excited to find that when I have more time to look.
Anyway here are a few of the scans of cards I found today:
Also came across 10 of this guy:
I also saw another Puckett that reminded me of the 1948-49 leaf set, so I scanned the Puckett next to my Williams from that set. The colors look closer in comparison to the naked eye:
Thanks for looking, and comments are always welcomed and encouraged. I know its not prospects(Although they were at one time
), but I thought maybe I could get a few replies tonight with the record amount of people on.
This just popped out from under a flap of the box that had the Puckett GU in it. I decided to scan it for all to see. A great card that I thought I traded/sold a long time ago:
