Andrew - Will you do the randoms for the second team before or after the break? If you don't care, I prefer before. That way we know what to look for as the break goes on.

Are we looking to start this with BC?

Know it is kind of boring but, is a good low end product for team collectors.

Also, what kind of TTT break would we be able to do? A 9 ct case? Would that be too expensive?

So I got into the second group, sweet. I am glad to be part of this. My quick thoughts based on a few of the posts I read. I think we need to find a way to define what the upcoming breaks are. I believe that 2012 Bowman Chrome is the first break for the groups. I have read about 2012 Topps Update, someone wanting Triple Threads, and might have missed some other suggestions.

My hope is we stick to breaks that avoid the super high end products like Topps Triple Threads. Andrew does plenty of breaks of those products on this site. To me, a true team collector, that type of product is not worth it for me. What do we get, maybe a nice hit and a few of the base cards? I would rather pick up what I want off of eBay. For me, the value of this kind of a break group is the chance to get all of the Red Sox from a case like Bowman Chrome, Base Topps, Topps Chrome, etc. Plus those type breaks has something for everyone. With the high end, there is a really good chance of some teams being completely shut out. I don't think anyone that is a true team collector would want to take that risk. As a team collector, I am thrilled by completing sets of my team, adding some inserts, and having a chance at a nice GU or Auto.

So I am hoping we have some sort of a voting mechanism. Perhaps Andrew shares with us what he can get and at what cost. Then we vote.

Also, I understood that this would be once a month, at a cost of approximately $60.

I can cancel the breaks and save them for January. do 6&5 for each group

I am OK with those as a break for Group #2. My only thought is if there is nothing new coming in for January, save them and do it then versus December. While the Bowman Draft is technically November for us, it is happening in December. With the holiday approaching, it might be best for us to wait until after. I know my wife is watching my spending, telling me Xmas is coming!

Something like that, and I hear you Wayne. I am already not looking forward to next year. Hanukkah is the end of November and the 2nd night is on Thanksgiving. Way to early if you ask me.

Guys, we already had December's break (group #1 at least). Also, Topps mini is a horrible product and I vote against it, however it is only one vote. Personally, I would like for our breaks to occur in the middle of every month regardless of release dates. Also, I would like to thank Andrew for his flexibility on payments. Thanks Drew!

Group 2 did not have the Frankenstein break, so we are behind by 1. I have no issues if Group 2 does another break in Dec. to catch up but I will miss it (vacation) but I'd probably be in for it as long as the product was something I need for the PC.

I also vote no for a mini break, I don't see any real value there. Much better to just pick up the singles you want instead.

I was thinking this for GB2 as it is behind 1 break.

How do people feel about a two or three box break of Bowman Sterling (18 autos/box) for TCG 2 to catch up? 2-3 boxes of this is about the price of a case of other stuff and yields a ton of hits.
