The card was bought, the card was listed.
When the sig was pointed out as being clearly false I pulled it from ebay.
That is my guess, because it's the simplest and most logical solution.

Only one problem... he didnt pull it. eBay did. If he pulled it you would still be able to view the auction.
maybe it got pulled before he could act?
Maybe a ferrett grabbed a chainsaw and had a humdinger of a banana while signing Bryce Harpers name to a card.
