Wow interesting read. I also have noticed the Pujols contract talks have been slow.
Possibly he is negotiating his own deal or a new agent is imminent?

If Albert is who says he is [a devout Christian / family man / champion of the mentally disabled] and he finds out his agent is the devil incarnate [or something like it] of sports agents, it doesn't look very good with all the goodwill Albert has built up [even just off-the-field] over the years.

Those are some pretty crazy accusations, I would in all fairness like to hear about how other agents do business and if all of that stuff on Dan is actually true.

I mean, there was a quote in there from another agent that basically amounted to...
...Yeah, we're all **********, but he's the biggest *********.

What's the difference between someone who's commited a crime 5 times or 20 times?

From what I have heard, most analysts/writers (in St. Louis, it should be noted) firmly believe Pujols probably had no knowledge of Dan's "antics."

One of these analysts, Chris Duncan (ESPN Radio analyst), advises Pujols to immediately fire his agent. In all likelihood, that's what I would predict.

To be honest it's a shame this crap has gone so public and Albert will probably have to fire him now. As someone right above me pointed out all agents do things like he did for the most part they're all liars manipulators and will do whatever it takes to get clients, and in all honestly that's how being an agent should and always will be, this guy doesn't need all this going public when he's a guy trying to basically out-manipulate hundreds of other agents who want Pujols and the stars he has. If he gets them top dollar then they ought to stick with him
