I wouldn't pitch to Cruz anymore unless he is up with no one on, and more than a one run lead. He's single-handedly won all the games for Texas. It could potentially be 3-1 Detroit without his play.

I couldnt agree more. I also think they need to drop Jackson in the lineup he strikes out way to much. The Tigers need to get runs early and Jackson's strikeouts dont help anything.

Jackson still batting leadoff is one of the biggest mistakes of Leyland's tenure with the Tigers. This kid shouldn't even be playing, let alone be in the leadoff spot. I swear, he gets an 0-2 count every at bat. He wants to sit there and take the 1st pitch, and then he has to swing down 0-2. I haven't seen someone this overmatched in the playoffs in a while. He has like 16 K in 36 AB or something like that. Sit and think about that for a second-almost 1 K per every 2 AB. Horrendous.

If Leyland wants to keep him in, he has to bat 9th. Move Santiago or Kelly to the leadoff spot-he's hitting very well in the playoffs, specifically this series. Whatever is done, Jackson has to be moved down.
