I thought it was fairly obvious that I was addressing Casebusters through quoting hail2thevictors to do it. I think I'm pretty consistent in patting someone on the back if they deserve it and smacking someone in the mouth if they deserve it as well.

In any case this thread could have easily turned into a Yankees hatefest but it didn't so that comment, I thought, was unmerited.

Got to love Jeter there. In a 1 run game, Gardner just about assuredly stealing 2nd-and Jeter flies out on the 1st pitch. Which is good, because if I had to live the rest of my life watching a Jeter HR there, I don't know what I'd do.

Valverde really makes me nervous here. He hasn't closed a ton of 1 run games. This should be very interesting. My vote would be to leave Benoit out there. Valverde usually always walks at least one guy.

we almost had the 96 alcs all over again on that jeter oppo field fly out....just a few more feet and some idiot yankee fan would have ruined another series
