In his defense, I recall him mostly picking up the Topps cards because he's a massive set collector. Those Topps cards will always carry a good premium with master set collectors. Maybe he picked up chrome stuff too of Gordon, but I don't remember that. Someone please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Heres my funny Gordon story.

Back when 06 Bowman with Chrome came out, his was, by far, the hottest card. That product had both a non auto BC and Bow card of him (The BC came out at $25).

I opened 3 boxes of it and couldnt pull the reg BC card of him while EVERY, I MEAN EVERY, customer of mine had no problem getting it.

So I tried one more box at home and after I opened the last pack and still didnt get one (remember , this is a basic BC card, not auto) I was fumming. At that point, it was a matter of principal (or whatever its called). I opened my window, 5 floors up, and started flining the cards out the window. Most of the cards went out with many landing on the roofs below. I even called my friend and vented to him, AT MIDNIGHT.

So I told some of my customers of my childish tantrum and wouldnt you know it, a few of them came in the following days and just gave me one of theirs.

Yes, I could have just bought the card but that would have been way too easy. Not all was lost though because I pulled a Blanks Blue auto and then started to pick up more and more of his autos and cards because of how cheap they were.

I am glad to see those anger management classes are working out for you.

If i recall right, on BMB he said he made a nice profit, but did lose more than he could have made if he sold them when they were super hot
