It's hard to believe anybody took this seriously. It really is like reading an article from The Onion!

They interviewed a guy named Tanner McLoud. Sounds like your typical NYer...

Philadel phia's - no editor?

"The big meal there is a steak with cheese and onions on a hero, but they don't even call it a hero. It's a hoagie. What the hell is a hoagie?" said Ron Montclane, 26.

You're right Ron, I never thought of it that way! I hate Philadel phia now!!!

Even Benjamin Franklin, Philly's patron saint, has been described as "the father of all the Yankees."

Love it.

You know why Yankess fans have to pick on the Philadelphia? because they can't find anything to say bad about this team.

They're scared.

I've been a Phillies and Yankees fan all my life. I always liked the Yankees because their players had class(most of them at least), but over the last couple of years that has been lost. I have still liked to watch them though.

I hate them this week and hope we bash their brains in, but if I had my choice I don't think I would rather play any one else(maybe the Twins).

I'm not sure I get the Twins option. In my mind I think people invalidate last year's WS Championship because they played the Rays and they don't represent a winning tradition. That's why the only options were the Red Sox or Yankees this year. Beat them, and earn the respect that the Phillies really want.

What a bunch of self-righteous, pompous, blow-hards...if you didn't have a reason to despise New York before, this crap will get your there...and quickly.

Phew...After reading the initial post, I was thinking the Yankee players had done something dumb. Glad it's just fans. This Yankee team is full of players that are difficult not to like.

Honestly, fans of any team kind of get fired up this time of year, don't they? This is not surprising.

I just like the Twins. :)

It's the sort of mentality displayed in that article that incites riots. Pathetic.

And for the record, I will not be following the WS at all, nor will I be rooting for either team.

I'll be way too busy not giving a crap.

The NY Post is a complete joke. It makes me feel like **** being a Yankee fan and seeing this, because honestly most real Yankees fans do not act like this at all. It is all of those fair weather fans that boo Arod when he strikes out and fails to hit a home run. Pretty pathetic.

Philly better hope they lose, so the fans don't destroy the City again.

What did we all miss last year?

Do you just talk off the top of your head or are you a bitter met fan?

No clue what your talking about....yes talking off the top of my head...sure.....

More Philly low lifes in action....

Thats what you got?

Really?

Every city has some level of destruction after a team wins a championship but to say the city was destroyed, fail.

If anyone that reads that actually gets bent out of shape, since it's being written for the sole purpose to instigate, should be handed there sign. But then again, for most of you, it takes far less to jump on the "I hate the Yankees" band wagon, so I suppose it's not that shocking to see so many here all deflowered over that comedic and provoking satire.

And just for the record, the Yankees are going to destroy the phillies.

Mr. Rodriguez and his steroid issues, perhaps?

Well he actually used players, which is plural. I was wondering what other examples he may have.

It is one thing to root against a team, or even hate them, but to say they have no class is a joke.

Arod and Burnett come to mind.

I still have all the respect in the world for Jeter, Rivera, Posada, etc. .

How does Pettitte continue to get a pass. It's not like he didn't do the same thing that Arod did. He just showed a little more class in admitting it.

Because HGH and steroids aren't the same thing.

You're right, steroids were banned in 1991. HGH wasn't specifically banned until January 2005.
