I am not comparing Jordan to Lebron.. I am comparing the MVP situation... You wont find a bigger Jordan Supporter then me.

I am simply saying... Lebron is the best player in the NBA right now.. as was Jordan just about every year he played in the league.... however... Malone, Barkley somehow won MVPs over Jordan... which was bs... There was no way Jordan wasnt the MVP.

People love to Hate on Lebron because they dont like "the decision... just a bunch of fools if you ask me... Talent is Talent.. Lebron is a best player in the game... 99% of coaches and NBA players will tell you the same thing...

Media blows up Rose to be better then he is...yes he had/having a good year... but as I said before Im not even sure he is the best pg in the league.....

I think Russell Westbrook is a better buy!

without the supporting cast? he arguably has the best supporting cast in the league, three legitimate big men in noah, boozer and gibson off the bench, deng offensively and bogans on defense...on the heat it is lebron wade and bosh, they have no inside man what so ever and no bench what so ever which is why they got in trouble during this regular season at times

Right... and how many games did Rose, Boozer and Noah got to play together? Without Rose, the Bulls are a good team, but a 6-8 seed at best.

Rose can take over a game, consistently, and in the clutch. Did you see the Pacers game today? The biggest difference between Rose and LeBron is that when Rose passed to Korver and Noah, LeBron would have tried to finish the drive alone. That is the difference between being (potentially) the best player in the game, and the most valuable player in the game.

If I'm building a team from scratch, I'm picking Rose over LeBron. I know what I would be passing on, but I'd rather have proven consistency, team chemistry, grit and clutch shooting/passing over someone who talks about himself at the 3rd person.

LeBron really can't win with the media and fans. When he takes the shot he's supposed to pass, and when he passes he doesn't have the killer instinct that Jordan had.

Just some interesting stats from 82games.com:

Clutch time stats (4th quarter or overtime, less than 5 minutes left, neither team ahead by more than 5 points) shown as 48 minute averages:

Rose: .402 FG%, .200 3P%, .890 FT%, 47.8 PTS, 10.4 REB, 9.8 AST, 6.9 TO, 0.6 BLK, 2.0 STL
James: .436 FG%, .238 3P%, .840 FT%, 45.1 PTS, 11.2 REB, 4.9 AST, 3.8 TO, 0.7 BLK, 1.4 STL

The short answer is - yes you are wrong.

I'm sure you can say I'm biased because I'm a Chicago fan.......but honestly I'm usually more critical of the teams I root for than those I hate. And there's really nothing bad to say about Rose.
He's just been amazing - beyond stats - the Bulls play mostly close games, and it seemed 9/10 times in those games Rose just put the team on his shoulders and closed the games out. Really he's the only guy that can create on that offense....Defenses know he's the one that has to force the issue.....and still few, if any could come close to stopping him. They had a stat on ESPN today - Rose has the highest percentage of his teams points in the final 2 minutes of close games.....which if you look at their record, were mostly wins.

I'd agree, last year he was in that "very good" range......I can honestly say I'm shocked at how much he has improved this year. He really has been amazing - stat-wise and even more importantly, as a leader and as a winner.

I was on the fence about Rose until todays 1st playoff game. In the 4th quarter he simply put his team on his back and willed them to win. I'm not sure his cardboard prices are on par with his talent though. Might be a little inflated but Chicago is a huge market and they have been waiting a long time for another superstar to come to town, since Jordan left, so I'm sure that is helping drive the prices upward.

No matter which side of the arguement you are on, he is exciting to watch. Just like LeBron is.

You guys are silly. I've probably watched all of his games this year, he's nearly unstoppable. Selfless, hard worker. Everything you'd want in a point guard. And um he will be the youngest MVP ever. He should be a junior at Memphis.

your crazy.. look at Cleveland without lebron.... Chicago would be a playoff team without rose... People just love to hate on the best player in the game. Wade had many chances to carry a team and he didnt amount to anything.....

What about Cleveland without Lebron? They are a bad team. It doesnt mean much. Cleveland with Lebron was the best team in the league. So by your logic, Lebron and the Heat should be that much better since Cleveland had no one aside from Lebron and the Heat have atleast 3 all star players? Under that logic, the Heat should have never lost a game this season? Correct?

How is it that Lebron with Cleveland had the best record in the league? 1 star and a bunch of garbage players. But when Lebron leaves for a start studded all star team, he cant achieve the best record in the league? This argument proves that Lebron was the NOT the sole reason Cleveland did so well. But it is good proof that Cleveland needed Lebron in order to succeed.

People tend to forget that when a player like Lebron leaves the Cavs, they not just losing their best player... but they are losing everything around them. The team sync is based around him. The system is based around him. Virtually the whol organization is based around Lebron doing something. When you take that out of the recipe, it fails. Fails in the sense that its hard to cope, re-adapt and form new gels within the group. Same goes for when Lebron joins a new team.

The make up of a team has just as much to do with the players around a star player like rose, kobe and lebron as it has to do with them. Its not just about losing a good player. its about the break down of a system when you lose such an essential piece of the team. As much as these guys are known for their success, they are also the reason for their failures. I dont understand why we forget this.

Where was Roses' defense this year? Also his general ball sense as a PG? Not saying he isnt good, but hes got a ways to go as well.
