Premium items that you can't just get on ebay, yes you can get a signed ball on ebay but people working on hofer signed pieces can't add a signature to their piece on ebay. There are also plenty of people that pay the premium for the chance to meet the players.chashawk said:Why do people pay the ridiculous prices to get autos at shows?

However, 90% of the people I see have bats, balls, jerseys, etc.birdsfan85 said:Premium items that you can't just get on ebay, yes you can get a signed ball on ebay but people working on hofer signed pieces can't add a signature to their piece on ebay. And evidently, nobody told Mays that people are paying to meet him, because most times he doesn't even look up.
Yup. Heard he has ruined quite a few multi-signed items for people in the past, rolled balls/bats across the table after signing, etc.birdsfan85 said:Yea tell me about it I just paid $300 for a Mays autograph ticket for Sunday that says they can't guarantee ink color, placement, type of utensil used, etc, etc.chashawk said:For a unique piece, I understand.
