Surprisingly, he is not getting out of the hobby. He is just a grader with money to spend. He has bought all of my high end items over the past 2 years (Pujols Chrome Autos, Kobe Chrome Ref, Exquisite stuff, etc.)

Sick stuff!

High end cards with high BINs again...I really dislike this building trend. It will become impossible to gauge the market if it continues.

I find myself hitting BINs less and less because I'm starting to feel like the only one bidding on some of these cards - well not these cards from this seller, they're really expensive :)

See, that's the sort of list that should be saved and when people ask what to invest in, point them to it. The best examples of the best cards of the best players. If I had to pick one, I'd probably go with the Seaver RC. And not just because it's the highest price (I think).

I put in offers on several of his cards at prices that were comparable to completed prices over the past few months and all of my offers were auto-declined. So, I'm assuming that he doesn't need the money all that badly right now.

Not the worst way to live in this Hobby

It sucks to feel like I have to sell to afford something

1980 RICKEY HENDERSON TOPPS RC ROOKIE #482 PSA 10 GEM!

That's a beauty, he sure does have some nice cards! I thought this subtitle was funny...

MICHAEL JORDAN UD MJ COMEBACK JERSEY AUTO #1/23 BGS 9.5
~True 1/1...Only BGS 9.5 in existance & Serial #1/23~

So wait, 2 ebay 1/1's = 1 true 1/1? Or is that the reason he put ~s around it, so we would know he was being sarcastic? Hmmm...

I saw that but isn't $10K a little too steep for that card? Or is it the only one?

Still, that doesn't compute for me imho.

Some really nice stuff there without question!

I do not think we will see many Seaver and Schmidt RC's in 10 form too often...

mrmiracle has some amazing stuff. He buys and sells most of the high end rookie cards in this hobby, but I don't really know how much money he makes because he loses on as many cards as he makes money on. He also has another business outside of the card world so he does not depend on cards to make a living.
