I was going to go after it, but it is above what I would have paid.
Will be interesting to see what it ends at.

Yeah, the other musial patches will be interesting to see. Unfortunately the gibson stuff and schoendist stuff has been very bland. Brock on the other hand has some nice ones.

Definitely a crazy patch...that's from last year's set right? I thought all of this year's jumbo patches were 1/1s.

This Munson went for $843 and I thought it was a much better patch than the Musial and I collect Musial.

I made an offer on it, it's already getting close to that price, so I don't think I'll be getting it.

Also, cant wait to see what the other 9 look like.

I don't think all will be this nice, maybe not even all patches. Two of the Berra /10's have been listed, one was a big patch(hit with a $299 BIN), and the other(up right now) has some stitching and a button hole, and is from a different jersey than the other. I would assume there's probably also 10 autographed jumbo swatches of Musial too.

I chatted with the seller when this first came up for auction.
I stated I am sure you have been asked this already, but are you willing to listen to offers.
He came back and stated that he already had 25 emails about it, so he was going to let it run. Cant blame him with that much interest.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I wont be paying more than what I paid for the 1/1 barrel in my sig. I have a feeling this card is going to go upwards of $800 which I am not willing to go.

Thats an AWESOME card!! Question: DO you think it would looked nicer if Topps worked a auto sticker into the design? Or eve better, an on card auto? He still signs for Topps, right? I think the card is spectacular, but I think adding an auto would have put it over the top.

I have to agree with you 100% Bo.
If it would have been a full Rawlings patch, I would have reconsidered my stance to not bid over $800 on it.
This is the first jumbo /10 that I have seen of Musial out of this years Sterling, let alone a 1/1 jumbo.
It will be interesting to see what else comes out and to see if they are better or if this was the top one.

This is 2nd card in recent days from Topps Sterling that has gone a lot higher than I expected, the other being the Ripken barrel. The Musial isn't a LOT higher than I thought, but a lot, the Ripken was insane though. Here's hoping the same thing happens with my Mattingly.

The only product I can think of would be...the previous Topps Sterling. Ofcourse a lot of those were current players, so this probably trumps it in rarity and impact.
