My first ever GU card was from 2001 MVP. It was the Griffey jersey and I still have it.
Always good to see older stuff. I can't believe that was really 14 years ago.....

I love Griffey and his auto is sweet but every time I see one I just think about how much $$$ they are a piece. Then I see someone who has so many and I feel....really...poor...😒

This thread made me realize how severely lacking my Brady Anderson MVP Collection is. I only have 99 Base, Silver, Gold, 00 Base, 01 Base (no parallels to chase), and 02 Base. I need to get to work!

gracecollector- Thanks for this thread and congrats on finishing your UD MVP cards. Threads like this help me realize how many different cards and years there are of a certain set there are to collect, and get more Jim Thome cards. Picked up a silver script 2001 Thome card off Sportlots for a decent price.:p
