On top of losing Milan Lucic for a few weeks w/ a broken finger....I just read that Marc Savard will be out 4-6 weeks w/ a broken foot.

OUCH!!

I'm just hoping Daniel Paille can step up in boston now.

Tim Thomas is going to have to start earning those pay checks and steal some wins for them. Getting goals is going to be tough for the Bruins. No Savard, Lucic, Kessel trade. A lot of O is gone.

WOW that is going to hurt the B's offense.

are there any young guys in Providence that can be called up to supply some offense?

They called up a few guys...Brad Marchand, Trent Whitfield and Vladimir Sobotka.
All were doing fairly well in Prov.

They also added these players to their roster as well..
LW - Guillaume Lefebvre
LW - Daniel Paille

Just as I read this, the B's give up a Powerplay goal...ugh!!

It's amazing how good they can look one day, and then turn around and play like crap the next. Now the loss of Savard for 4-6 weeks? Not good.

I look forward to seeing Marchand play, but I wish they would just call up Zach Hamill

Tough break to lose one of your best players, especially when others are down :(
