Another 4 hit night for Kubel. It really is a shame that Gardy will pull him from the line-up as soon as they face a left handed pitcher. Kubel was a hitting machine in the minors (beat out an older Morneau at AAA for Twins Minor League Player of the Year) till the tore his knee to shreds. I've never given up on him, and as you said, I love seeing him play well.

Yes I believe it was Darren Oliver's 1st start in 5 years.

Nice to see Kubel play well. He could absolutely RAKE in the minor leagues. Just dominated at every level. I was impressed with his defense in RF in the minors. A + arm and good range. The AFL knee injury was a setback, but I'd love to see him get more playing time in the field. Won't hold my breath with Genius Gardenhire at the helm though...

Kubel is killing the ball right now. Great to see. I also think we could start seeing a platoon at second base if Casilla continues to struggle against leftys. Harris has done a nice job these past few games.

Anyone been to the Dome yet this year or the Pro Shops. This guy on GUU site already has scored and photo matched a Kubel Helmet fromthis year and Morneau bat. If so any game used balls mlb authenticated with final season at the dome logo for sale. If so how much are they getting for them?

They always have that type of stuff there. Morneau bats are like $300-something, maybe around $400.

I wish I still lived in Minnesota. I'd be crushing at the proshops. The final season game used dome patched stuff will be make for some nice collectibles. So the Twins are working 6 different style jerseys so far. Saw highlights in sleeveless style. Thought they may scrap those with new throwback home style. So do the Twins still let the pitchers choose the style the wear that game? Hernandez kinda brought back the sleevless style last season. Then Franciso started picking it for his home starts.

Last time I was at the pro shop in Roseville, they had a Tolbert gamer bat for $100.

Man about $75 overpriced. Last time I was in a proshop. It was year and half ago. They had mlb authenticated game used balls for as cheap as $15 and scrub game used jerseys were as cheap as $50.

Thus is the way of the new pro shop.

Just as I suspected, Cuddy is in for a return to 07 form this year (so far). All you people who bought into the Span hype and claimed the Twins needed to trade Cuddy, please remember who you are.

Yeah, Cuddy is really making me eat my words. How Gardenhire can justify sending this guy out every single game I will never know. I would trade Cuddyer and his overpaid salary for a pack of bubble gum and a Twins schedule magnet.
