I was at the game sitting in Section 126 (Few sections behind 3rd base) and I could even tell it was a foul. Once they went to replay I knew it was getting overturned.

Actually ended up having a really cool time at the game, I will post more about it in a few minutes..

Well I had fun at the game tonight despite the loss. I was able to get in early to watch the Twins take BP since I am a STH. Watched BP from the Overlook in RF and it was pretty cool since there wasn't anybody in the stadium really (only about 15-20 people with us watching). Was actually able to snag a Ben Revere BP Home Run ball (Yes I said Revere and HR in the same sentence!) and gave that one to my the girl since she likes Benny. Not sure if I should really add the next part since it isn't really Twins related (Actually Yankees for that matter which probably makes it worse) but since it was a part of my time there I will add it anyway. I'm pretty sure that I have said it before but if I haven't I have actually tried to graph visiting teams this year at TF just because 1) There is far less fans there trying for them 2) You don't get kicked out when you are down by the dugouts when they are taking BP and 3) We have the best team in MLB for Autograph opportunities so I figured it would be smarter to try and get players that we can't every week.

So after the Twins finished BP I was able to grab a really good spot right next to the Yankees dugout since I was in there before everyone else and of course once the gates opened I looked behind me and saw a mad rush of Yankees fans sprinting down the aisles trying to get close. Went through the entire BP session and nobody stopped by, Gardner and Granderson walked right by but didn't stop despite the Yankees fans best efforts. Near the end Jeter and Posada started warming up their arms and they were right in front of us so I started snapping some pics of them. Jeter noticed since I was the only one taking pictures of them and said something to Posada about it. Well sure enough once they were done and the Yankees were finishing up BP, Jeter came back and threw the BP ball that he had right to me Can't say that I wasn't excited for it. Absolutely HATE the Yankees but I respect Derek Jeter and I thought that was pretty cool since although there were a ton of Yankees fans there he threw me the ball. Also had a couple players walk by at the very end and sign a couple so overall I had a really cool day and just thought I would share! Sorry for the LOOOONG read for those of you lasted this far

Btw, I was looking at my HR spreadsheet and Andruw hit a HR last year on the same date in Minnesota while playing for the White Sox. Useless information I know, just found it odd.

It's odd, I don't think I have seen BP in a really long time... we usually end up on the series closer.

I would try to go on Saturday, but it's the Yanks, and I think I will be spending the day at the Metrodome. I don't quite know right now what's happening.

I have a 40 game pack and never knew one could get in early for anything there.

I am really only going to see Grave Digger. If I get a chance, I want to see Rocket Club perform "North Country" and I would like to make a pass through the Gophers line.

The free Gopher lines are really cool to go through... get the autos of the guys before they get drafted.
