I am going to start stocking up on Robb Quinlan cards for IP at the dome this year. If anyone wants to do a 50/50, let me know. I can take 2-3 cards per game. I just ask that you don't send me numbered cards, you prep any glossy cards, and you send SASE. I don't know what this year's schedule looks like right now.

He doesn't have a ton of cards... as far as base, this is what I know.

-2008 Heritage
-2008 UD
-2003 UD
-2000 Bowman/Chrome
-04 Topps Total
-2000 Best
-2009 Upper Deck
-2004 Fleer Tradition
-2005 Diamond Kings

He has a 2009 UD jersey as well. I can also take photofiles or team issued 8x10s.

I don't have the schedule, but I am going to try to make it to senior day. You can go down on the field and the players and coaches are very awesome about signing.

For anyone wondering, he is now one of the coaches for the Gophers and played a few years in the Majors. Not a major player, but I still want to get some stuff signed.

I wonder if I'm the Quinlan "Supercollector"? I think I have like 12 different Diamond King 1/1's....

My dad coached him in high school & Babe Ruth...he played in the same league as me, I'm older though & didn't play with him. I now coach & am the league president of that same league.

He is getting inducted into the Gopher HOF soon... he was a beast in the Big Ten and still holds some records.

I can take some stuff if you want. I won't make a ton of the games though. Mainly just the games that the bigger prospects are at, and senior day. Senior Day is my best bet because I can get on the field after the game/awards.

I am thinking about a couple different UD cards, and a 2009 UD jersey, and a Topps Heritage.

Someone on Neshek's tweeted Dave St. Peter about TwinsFest.

It's at the Dome from Jan. 27-29. I should be there on the 28th. It's going to be a frenzy... but better than last year. Hopefully the Gophers are there this year too.

I'd like to go all 3 days if I'm available that weekend

I doubt I can make more than Saturday. MAYBE Sunday, but that's really iffy.

Depending on the weather, can get there reasonably quick, 30-35 minutes, but wouldn't do much other than autograph lines, which could get boring after so long

At least 3 hours for us. If the weather is nasty, we won't even bother trying. It will mainly be auto lines of the low-end guys that I need, a little time at the radio booth, a little time eating, and a little time browsing for the over-priced Perks I need in the card show. I will have to find the Gopher booth and graph those crazy kids, and I will need the guys at Bob Feller's table.

I have to get saving. I have $60 in purchases to complete ($20 for a nasty Perk, and $40 for a PB gun), and then I can start.

Twins fans, I've been thinking about trying to do a collection, and I'm not sure if this will be at all possible for meb, but I was considering trying to get a GU/AU of the Twins greatest position players, and by that I mean I want a GU/AU of the best first basemen (killebrew of course), best 2nd basemen, and so on. I was wanting to get your perspective on who I should be after for each position. I'm thinking I'll start out with going for just GU first, and then maybe working my way up to autos because I'm short on cash. Any help will be appreciated!

1B - Kent Hrbek
2B - Rod Carew
3B - Gary Gaetti
SS - Zoilo Versalles
OF - Harmon Killebrew
OF - Kirby Puckett
OF - Tony Oliva
C - Joe Mauer

If you want to put Killebrew at 1B, I'd say Torii Hunter is next OF.

Pitchers - Johan Santana, Jim Kaat, Jack Morris, Frank Viola, Bert Blyleven, Brad Radke
Closers - Joe Nathan, Rick Aguliera, Jeff Reardon
