Delmon isn't going to get where he and the Twins want him to be until he starts listening and taking in advice.

Watch how he spins his bat in his hands, not rotate the bat in a circle over his shoulders, but literally spinning it in his hands. This makes it so that when he's actually swinging at the ball, he doesn't know where the bat is. I've noticed when he does have good at bats, he just grips the bat as apposed to spinning it. Hopefully he can figure it out soon or he'll get traded and have a breakout with someone else

Time to resurrect this as a pick up thread, so here's a mailday to share.

3x5 card. Bought it hoping to have 200lbhockeyplayer make it into a cut auto card for me, but it's too big for that! Still, it's a very nice ballpoint auto of the classic "Circle G"

Couple of pesky 1999 Pacific Red parallels.
Seems like these things are always out there, but never in my guy. Glad to have gotten them both from the same seller.

And the last one, I didn't expect to win, but I was the only bidder on it. Gaetti and Puckett auto on a newspaper clipping. I suppose I could get the rest of the guys to sign it eventually (Would you? Hrbek and Smalley are usually at Twinsfest, Bruno never comes around.) Not the best Puck signature I've seen, but in those days, he was a pretty sloppy signer. Still, it's the Gaetti auto I like, the Puck is a bonus. The clipping is stuck on a piece of card stock--maybe a little heavier--so it looks pretty nice in hand. It's a little bigger than a 5x7 card, too.

As far as Twins talk, it was dissapointing to drop two out of three to the Astros, but nice to see Slowey pick up his 10th win. With Halladay out, he could be the AL's wins leader at the All-Star break. (in theory, anyway.)

Twins suck.

If you're like me you thought after the Chi Sox series it was looking like things may be turning around. Guess not. Nobody said being a fan was easy, especially when our pitching has been so hit and miss(mostly miss)

Finally some starting pitching one can be proud of. Crain was good in relief, but again Keppel had a bad inning. I just hope we can start pitching consistently because we've been putting up good run support as of late.

How about Cabrera since he got here? I'd say we made a solid trade, he's definetly fitting into that #2 hole nicely

Have to agree.
Nice to see Mauer hitting again.
