I wonder if Bert will work with Team Netherlands this year. He's been their pitching coach before. When they beat the Dominicans last time around, I wanted a Netherlands hat, just so I could have Bert sign it, but couldn't find one anywhere! Go Netherlands! (because Team USA's pitching roster is pretty thin.)

Kepler should end up on team Germany as well. Sano is a long-shot for the DR team

MLB.com might have them, although it's probably too late for the 'Fest

Wouldn't that look awesome if Bert inscribed it "The Flying Dutchman"? Never happen, but that would be soooo cool. "The Flying Dutchman" on the left of the logo, and his auto on the right. I'd never wear it, it'd go straight into my cabinet!

Just got back from the Twins Caravan stop in Mason City over my lunch hour. Garenhire, Steinbach and Dozier were part of this group. Fun group, kind of feel for Dozier being the youngest in that group, by a lot!! After the intros and q&a, they said they weren't going to sign any autographs as they had to hit the road, so instead they signed some oversized cards that each of them signed on the way to the stop. Still ended up getting ball signed by Dozier though. I'll post some pics/scans later on. Pretty cool event, about 50-75 people were at the location it was held at but it being over the lunch hour on a weekday would make it tough

Depending on how well I sleep tonight, I'll head to the waffle feed in Willmar tomorrow morning.

I can post some results afterwords. He's an MN born kid, so that's why I'm posting it here.

I'm debating if I should get my bobblehead signed, or my card.

My Gaetti pick up is in!

First on I've ever seen, don't care that the foil is off the mark. Only cost me $17 dlvd.

So now I'm one step closer to the rainbow.

All I need is the base card. Figures. I can find the parallels and inserts, but not the base. I'm always hopeful to do some digging at Twinsfest, but if anybody has one, I'll take it!

Man, I need to get to a Caravan stop with Mauer to start my puckdrop 16x20.

I'm really excited for Thursday's stop though. I'll try for Carew, so wish me luck.

I would rather take my chances 3 days in a row at Twinsfest ($25 this year) or drive to a caravan event (free if he signs) than pay $110 to have a flat signed!!!

The only reason you EVER have to go thru Ironclad is to have a GU item signed (he wont sign it at Twinsfest).
Just my $.02 at the ridiculousness of Ironclad's Mauer fees.

I wouldn't pay $110 either.

I can get a cert on eBay for as little as $20, possibly even less if I get lucky. I'm not paying anything over $50, and even at that, it's a stretch.
