Gotta bump it!

Nishioka was on the field for pre-game ceremonies... good to see he could make it.

Hope it's a good game. I kinda hope it finishes before 5, but I doubt it.

Nice win for the home opener!

Plucked this out of a retail box recently.

His interpreter got a huge cheer and Nishioka had to tip his cap. He almost received a louder ovation than Mauer.

Wow, Nishi is already that over with Minnesota crowd. I guess the fans like seeing a fresh face instead of all the guys that puke all over themselves in the post season.

Good selection of gamers in the team shop at Target Field?

There was a rare card show in town today (Chippewa Falls, really) and picked up a bunch vintage. Probably make a post about everything, but here's the Twins stuff I picked up.

Everything is in real nice shape. Typical soft corners on a few, but the color and sheen of them really caught my eye. Love the Battey, the Mudcats--the 61 is begging for an auto at Twinsfest nest year, and I've always wanted the "Zorro" Versalles. Zorro cost me $2, everything else was a buck each. I bought a lot of stuff for a buck today!

Beautiful autos Chris! Cuddy really has worked hard on making his signature one of the best out there.

The problem here is that they keep book of everything in the system and not just at the field.

They have about 4-5 displayed, and a ton behind the curtain.

well that sucks, Wicked Nick throws a gem and gets a loss. Nice to see Mauer, Morneau and Cuddy puking all over themselves batting early on. Lets get those sticks going and start earning those paychecks.

Sweet, what did you get signed - A Ticket Stub for TBTwinsFan, not a thing for me, as $10 for Baker alone is too much IMO
How was Baker - His typical self, quiet non-talkative
Was it busy any cool stuff you see getting signed - Not busy at all, I got there 30 mins after it started and walked right up.
Any word on them bringing in Nishi - Not a word at all. I would be surprised if they get Nishi in there, Im sure he would command a mint.

TB gotta be jacked getting that Baker tix signed. Little surprised it was dead. So Baker isn't the most out going dude. At least he has a decent looking graph.

I am very happy that Chris got it signed for me. I couldn't think of an inscription, but I know everything about this stub that there needs to be known.

The game was a spark of the moment thing. We were going to see my grandma, and I was wearing my Liriano jersey that day. My dad said "What time does the game start?" (20 minutes), "Want to go?" (Yeah!).

At the game, Baker tossed 6 innings no-hit. That was the longest "no-hit streak" I have ever seen in person, and by far the best outing I had seen from Baker (before he lost that game for us in the 7th ::facepalm:: ).

The stub obviously features Baker, so ever since that day, I knew I had to have him sign it. I didn't have it on hand at TwinsFest, and I learned of the signing on Neshek's board, so I figured I would try to get up there. Coincidentally, today is my mother's b-day, so I couldn't go up there.

It really isn't that important of a game in history, but it was an important day to me, seeing my grandma who has been VERY sick over the past 3 years, it's just a little reminder to me personally of some good times I was able to have.

looks sweet. I think Baker doesn't sign ttm and is tough ip. So spending $10 isn't all that bad to get nice looking graph on it. Nice of MC to get it done for ya.
If I was in Town I would have done 3 for $25. Ginter card would have been a lock, maybe nice 8x10 if they had any with old school jerseys and maybe TF omlb ball from last season.
