Also should be getting some nice Span cards in the mail sometime soon Definitely has been one of the most spendy couple weeks for me. Gardy sez Capps and Nathan will share the closer role--for now. They're still trying to protect Nathan until he shows he's capable of 3-4 days in a row of pitching. Then--what, is it his again, and Capps becomes a set-up man? I think Capps should close and Nathan get his strength back by being the 8th inning man--not closing yet. Once they decide Nathan is 100%, does Capps become trade bait? Will be interesting to watch how this unfolds through the year.

Bully scares me this year. Usually a Twins strength. I just see Nathan getting lit up a lot this year.
Real interested how middle of infield turns out. Hope Mauer finds some of his power this year and live up to cash he is making now.

As much as I want the bullpen to really succeed this year, I'm afraid we won't have enough people step up against the bigger guys late in games. I wouldn't mind Capps starting the season as Closer, I actually even drafted him for my fantasy team in anticipation of him eventually become the closer (hope I eat my words on that one and Nathan is the regular old Nathan). Also a little nervous about Casilla. I really like him as a player, just want to see if he can keep the AVG up this year so he can run with Span and Nishi.

Yeah I saw that lot and it just includes Rosin, not sure why he put his name in the auction title. And the Kvasnicka should never go for that much, unless there are a couple serious die-hard Kvasnicka collectors.

Robert Meachem is my favorite football player, and I had a relative that was on the Jags with Mark Brunell (he is obviously gone) and on the Giants with Shockey (If I am correct).

EDIT: I should say this, he only actually played one year in the NFL on the Offensive Line in New York, but after that he was shuffled from team to team, so whenever I found out about a new team of his, I would follow that team. He was with the Giants, Jags, and I think the Bucs. Played college blocking for Tom Brady. (he is actually on Tom Brady's Press Pass RC)

So I can't collect him, so I collected the people around him and because of that, became a fan of the people I was collecting (Shockey, Brunell, etc etc) and when I saw those 2 were both on the Saints, as well as Meachem, I took a liking to them. Bandwagon? Probably.

If anyone else is at the show at the Earle Brown Center tomorrow, look for the very tall guy wearing Michigan gear and say hi. I'm mainly going to get a Gary Carter auto to add to my OMLB HOF collection. Will probably be spending time checking out the tables for any Tigers and Michigan stuff.

Would love to, but my wife will be out of town, so I'm stuck at home. Would love to get Monte Irvin on an A&G card, but there's no one else autograph-wise I'm really hot for, but they have a nice line up. If anyone can hook me up, I'd appreciate it.

Hughes hit great during the Spring, but struck out a lot and walked twice. Playing everyday in Rochester instead of riding the bench with the big club will be the best thing for him. Hopefully he'll get his shot, he's got skillz!
