I really liked the look of Platinum last year, will be interesting to see if they actually are Patch Autos or just plain jerseys.

On another note I was just watching MLB Network and they talked about the Twins possibly becoming sellers if we don't turn it around. The 3 players they said teams would almost certainly be interested in were Capps, Thome, and Cuddyer. I think if we ended up becoming sellers Capps would almost certainly be gone. I would imagine we would hold onto Thome until he reaches 600 so it would happen in a Twins uniform. Cuddyer I think would be interesting. At this point he is our hottest hitter and would likely bring us back a decent prospect. It would be hard to see us actually trading him, but then I thought about it another way. He is a free agent after the season (his option is 99% likely to be turned down) and why wouldn't he want to just re-sign with us? I would be shocked if we weren't interested in that. What are everybody else's thoughts?
If the Twins need to trade, I'd see Pavano, Young or Kubel depending on who's doing better, and Morneau being the first guys gone. Gibson can come up and replace Pavano, Hicks and Revere can replace the outfielder, and Cuddyer will replace Morneau and Sano in a few years

Don't think they'd get what they want for Morneau so he isn't going anywhere. Same goes for Delmon. They had a chance to deal him while his stock was high after last season and they really should have. I see Kubel, Pavano, and Cuddyer as the most movable pieces. Not sure why you think Cuddy stays but i'd love to hear it since i'm a big fan of his and any optimism is welcome. He is just paid too much and unless he takes a big paycut next year they probably can't keep him.

3 weeks ago we were 15.5 back, today we are 9 back, thats 6.5 games we have cut in 21 days. Once we start to get players back, Mauer, Nishi, Thome, Kubel, Span, Morneau, Nathan, Perkins, on and on and on, I really think the Twins can make a run at this thing. They have won 9 of the last 11, as long as this team can stay kind of hot, chipping away at the lead, not going on another 9 game losing streak, and losing 14 of 17 we have a shot once this team is fully healthy.

As for if we do become sellers, of course I dont want to see Cuddy go, but he is the best hitter on the team that is healthy right now, so it wouldnt surprise me if teams look to him as a pickup. There is no player or team option for next year that I see out there, so he will be a full free agent. Does he deserve the 10.5 million per year going forward? Maybe not, but lets be honest here, he can go out and play any position on any given day. He is healthy 99% of the time, gives it his all day in and day out. He's the HR leader, 4 off the pace for RBIs (low, but I still think he will be in the 80-90 range for the year, top 5 batting avg right now). All of that from above, that is a guy on want on my team. Are Mauer and Morneau more "valuable"? Maybe, but they are ******* in my opinion, Mauer making double what Cuddy is and his legs are weak, and Morneau, you never know if someone gives him a love pat on the head whether or not he'll miss an entire season.

In addition, Cuddy is so so involved in the community, not only would he be a loss to the Twins as a team on the field, but off the field as well as a spokesman and representative for the organization.

Thats my rants and rumblings on the above.

Delmon only has this year under contract, is arbitration eligible in 2012, then is a free agent in 2013, so he might be with us one more year, then I see him being gone either via trade or as a free agent.

I agree Cuddy is making a ton, 10.5, but how much really is too much for the guy thats healthy 99% of the time, your team leader in HRs, almost in RBIs, hitting about .275 (yeah it would be nice to be higher, but thats his career avg), has played RF, 1B, 2B and DH, and could if need be play CF, LF and 3B? Then you have Mauer making 23 Million, played a total of 9 games this year, and Morneau making 14 Million with 4 HRs, 21 RBIs and hitting a solid .225!!! I think "value" is really in the eye of the beholder, dont you?

Great time for a CLE/DET series for them to beat on each other and maybe get a little distance from each other so the Twins can finally gain some ground just having to go against one team again not two teams

If I wouldnt have won the Cuddy bat, I would have went after this, Butera Mothers Day gear.
IMO, $1000 is a steal of a deal. The equipment is signed by all of the Twins.
Cant see good enough, but Im assuming maybe Mauer and Nishi are on there too.
Even if they arent, still an amazing price, would look awesome framed in a shadow box.

Anyone else hear on KFAN, before Nishi was activated today, the Twins had $64.9 million of a DL payroll, which is more than the total payroll of 9 teams?

Nice Valencia DC. Tried trading for one a few times, but can't get anyone to part with one!

Yeah, thanks. I got it on the free unlock after 5 digs. Was pretty pumped to see the die-cut & even happier when I saw it was a Twin. I wasn't doing too well before hitting it, with the best being a 1985 Rod Carew.
