Not watching the game, why did Baker get pulled after 5 innings and 62 pitches, hurt?

They don't know yet. Doesn't look good though. He didn't look hurt on the mound so it could be precautionary, but no reason to take him out at all.

Looks like a right mild elbow strain. Tommy John?

I wouldn't jump to that conclusion, but he was very much relying on offspeed stuff the entire game.

That was all I saw from twittering it; better than googling it; hopefully he doesn't need TJ Surgery, but that could speed up Gibson's call

Gibson is getting to the point where he could be big league ready. T think they'll try to keep him in the minors for a while longer so that when he does come up, he can be ready for the rotation and not just tossed in the pen

I was just looking at some minor league games from tonight and I'm starting to wonder what we're going to do with Plouffe. His defense is pretty bad as he has always been shaky there, but he hit 3 HRs tonight in a doubleheader and now has 15 on the year. Would be nice if he could get his D together and play SS for us, I like his bat.

If the Twins make it back to first place, time to start the Cuddy for MVP campaign

Poor start for Liriano again today. I really want to see him succeed but he has really taken a step back this year after having such a good year last year. It's like he lost the control that he gained back last year.

Perk might replace Crapps!

Mauer to first tomorrow... that would be a fun game to go too.
O/U .5 errors for Mauer?

I think he'll make the transition nicely. Not as hard for a catcher who is used to getting dirty blocking balls and catching throws.
