Happy with that win. I had 3 predictions tonight

Mauer- 3 hits at 1st base [Check]
Thome- 2 HRs [X]
Cuddyer- 2 HRs [X]

1 of three isn't bad. Thats .333 if we're playing baseball

Which makes you an All-Star! Nice call!

I got back from the game... had a good time. Met Mr. Lombardozzi. The handler wasn't the best though. We went through the line, and she scolded me for "asking him to sign more than one item" (I just set my cards on the table). She said we could go through the line again after everyone gets a chance. We hopped back in line and she got upset because we didn't get in at the right time and told us not to go through the line again. I didn't understand her earlier (I thought she meant hop back in line later after other people got a chance... she meant EVERYONE) so I thanked her for the signatures and went to see Wally the Beerman. Steve was really cool though. He signed my OMLB and a card for member TwinsWin. He took a pic with my friend and put his WS ring on his thumb.

The game itself was excellent... ALMOST had one of the greatest comebacks in NWL history. One run in the first to them, 2 to us. The second was brutal... 2 runs and then a grand slam... it was 10-3 at one point but we came back to ALMOST win. 10-8 was the final... bases loaded... ouch... Only things to blame were lack of pitching, and not moving the baserunners when we needed too. Defense for the most part was excellent... 2 diving catches and we capitalized on some major base running mistakes

I followed the Twins game on my phone while at this game. Seemed to have gone well...

What are the chances that at some time Ozzie Guillen will work for the Twins? I could see him getting fired from CHI and being hired by the Twins as a hitting coach or something.

Probably not very likely, not really a Twins guy. Although I may be in the minority but I really like him as a manger. I like the passion that he brings and he can really lite a fire under a team. There has been talk for a long time though that if he ever gets fired that Florida has always wanted him and I could see him going there.

I have always liked Guillen as a manager--no quarter given, none taken kind of guy, speaks his mind in a time where you're not supposed to do that, and he's done something we haven't in the Gardy era--win a ring.

He seems to almost like the Twins more than he likes than the White Sox, he loves the piranha/sardine attitude. I've got a nice Ozzie auto from Spring Training

Picked these up last week from the same seller for a buck each. Still thinking about going for the rainbow, but that's not always my thing. Still, I think Danny has really started to shake the 'ol Sophomore Slump and is looking to be the best third baseman we've had, since...well, you know...

Nice to take the first 2 from the Sox. A sweep going into the break would be HUGE and I'm starting to think we will do it. That would get us to 42-47 plus we would pass Chicago and move into 3rd. Let's get it done!

good game to come back and win, started out looking not good.

i like listening to Kelly and his baseball knowledge that he has, he is a little more serious then Bert so it takes the color away from watching the game o well

First game for Kelly was a little shaky, but he's got his confidence up, and is really running with it. I love Bert as a player and broadcaster(humor and knowledge are awesome), but it is cool to listen to kelly and his point of views.

Dick and Bert, or Kelly and Richard. Can't go wrong with either. Love Tom Kelly and what he's done for this organization, but I'd like Bert out there slightly more. Like I said, can't go wrong with either, and its been very entertaining with both.

Watched the postgame interview with Gardy, and it looks like he's losing weight. Stress over the game, trying to get out to that mound faster, or slimming his figure to accent that blonde mullet.

Couldn't find that commercial, but came across this. Hillarious, and rock the 20th Anniversary.

Enjoy!

Awesome videos. I haven't seen that dancing Twins one in a long time but I remember being on the tape celebrating the 1991 World Series.

7 games back from 1st, 7 under .500, and two more games against a weak division rival. Sounds doable.

Figured we needed more scans in this thread... I have very few cards that I would pretty much never consider selling (another I just sold to Musial Collector a few months back, so take that for what it's worth), but this is probably #1:

Tosoni & Rivera are heading down to AAA.

Delmon Young is returning & Trevor Plouffe is being called up ( :D )

I really like Tosoni, I hope he gets his swings in down in Rochester.
